Wednesday rolls around so quickly doesn't it?  So yes, it's already What's on Your Workspace Wednesday again.

Today my workspace - which is my BED today is filled with canvases and other "stuff" I've got scattered over the bed . . .

And because I put the two Alice in Wonderland charm necklaces in my etsy shop and they have both sold now, I am working on a couple more for the Holiday Affaire.  I originally put them in my etsy shop just to see how many "hits" I would get.  Didn't think they would sell so quickly!  Lynne from The Altered Alice bought BOTH of them . . .

I've already put together another one, so I won't put it in my etsy shop this time . . .

I'm also working on my sample for the Vintage Curio workshop I will be teaching at Whimzy on Saturday, March 5th.  See the Configurations box on the right?  And I'm still working on those ZENtangle-haired girls on canvas pieces I can't seem to finish.


A few other things I HAVE finished . . .

Gotta go clean off the bed now so I won't end up sleeping on the sofa again tonight.  One day I will have a real craft room where I can leave stuff out, shut the door and not have to clean up after myself every day! *sigh*

I've Got the Blues

a mostly Blue Charm Necklace that is

I think this charm necklace would look nice with a white shirt and a pair of jeans don't you?

The charm above was made from a pair of recycled jeans, an acrylic Fragment and some of TH's Idea-ology metal snaps

I even added a "blue" brain in a jar - it's actually a wood laser cut - no brains were actually harmed in the making of this charm *hee hee*

I used some of TH's older papers for some of these Fragment charms.  And check out my vintage doll (another wood laser cut) with her blue dress

I made a charm from a metal drawer label above - cut a piece of sheet music with the word BIRD on it, glued it to the underside and then filled the top with Glossy Accents and hooked on a metal bird through one of the holes

Vintage rulers that are cut in small pieces make really cool charms TOO!

If you'd like to make your own charm necklace, another workshop has been added on July 17th at Vintage Whimzy! in Old Town Tustin.  But if you can't, and you would just like to have this one, you can purchase it next Sunday after my workshop.  I want to take it as another sample for the ladies.

This one was really fun to make.  Oh wait . . . that's what I've said about ALL of them!  I hope YOU are making something really fun.

Don't like dryer sheets?  Did you know that you can ball up a piece of aluminum foil, throw it in the dryer and attract all of the static that would normally be on your clothes when you take them out of the dryer?  Yep, it works!

An old stretched out sweater waiting patiently (see its arms crossed?!) to be made into a pillow . . .

Tags I made for some of my vintage suitcases that hold arts & crafts supplies . . .

And a couple of my Paradise Found roses.  They smell soooooooo good . . .

Zentangled Nude on Canvas

Thought I would switch up from using rubber stamps and sketch a woman on canvas and Zentangle around her . . .

I used copic markers to "color her in" . . .

and finished the edges of the canvas with more Zentangles . . .

The piece is 6" x 9" . . .

Earth, Wind and Fire?!  We were all saying, "what and who the heck is a Earth, Wind and Fire????"  Well, that was in 1972 and I've been lovin' them ever since *smiles*.

Girlfriends and Wonderland Necklaces in Etsy Shop

I created a couple of Zentangled "girlfriends" necklaces using EcoArtBoards and rubber stamps.  Added a little color using Copic pens.  


As with the other necklaces I've been making, both sides are decorated.  You can see the reverse side in the photos of these Etsy listings.  Here and Here


I've added the Wonderland necklaces shown HERE to my Etsy Shop this morning as well.  Shipping is included in the price!

A New Zentangle-Inspired Necklace with Hearts and Diamonds

The charm necklace with the spades and clubs sold so quickly Saturday that I thought I would create another one.  This time I used the hearts and diamonds playing cards and zentangle-inspired pieces.
