Friday Fill-Ins #177

I haven't played "Friday Fill-Ins" in awhile, so I thought I'd join in this week.

1.  Friday never fails to make me smile.


2.  I'm looking forward to going to CrescenDOh at Gothic Moon Productions Friday night!

3.  Maysa is what I'm listening to right now.


4.  Potato salad must have sweet pickles in it!


5.  Cherry on Top was the best thing I ate today.

6.  Today was (is) Thursday and it's after 10pm and I'm still up - dyeing the gray out of my hair.

A Thank you Note and Friday Fill-Ins #163

God gave me a gift of 86,400 seconds today.  I'm using one of them to say "Thank You!"


Thank you to everyone that stopped by my blog, left a message on Facebook, sent money to my Paypal (oh wait! Nobody did that!) or e-mailed me privately to send birthday wishes.  I've had a great birthday (so far) this month *smiles*!


Here is my contribution to Friday Fill-Ins this week:


1.  Pickles are good when they are bread and butter pickles.


2.  I LOVE being at home.


3.  The snow is only in the mountains here in Southern California.

5.  It's 5:16pm; that means that I should have left work and be heading to the grocery store.

6.  A good pair of good-fitting jeans at a good price is hard to find.


7.  And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to chillin' (don't I write that for every Friday Fill-In?!), tomorrow my plans include making some decorative pillows and Sunday, I want to play it by ear!

1. My boots were made for walkin' and that's just what they'll do . . . dee dee dee dee. 

2. If I'm still around, I 'll be 147 years old by the end of this century. 

3. Imitation of Life is one of my favorite movies!

4. Can we go somewhere for coffee and talk?

5. I'd like one of those Tim Holtz die cutting machines when they come out and the 12 new Distress Inks TOO.

Friday Fill-Ins #155

1. No, we will NOT be purchasing more than a new snowboard this season! 


2. I used to love having hot tea, biscuits and homemade jam with my grandmother at the old kitchen table. 

3. I watched the steam rising from the hot cup of coffee and thought: this cup of coffee is going to taste so much better Saturday morning when I can have it while sitting at home crafting in front of the television.

4. I will keep a positive attitude that things in 2010 are going to be okay.

6. Customer service stinks at the two Michael's I go to . . . at least from my point of view.

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to clearing off my coffee table and setting it up for tag-making, tomorrow my plans include nothing but creating tags inspired by Tim Holtz' 12 Tags of Christmas and Sunday, I want to take naps in between crafting!

I started to do the Friday Fill-Ins this morning, but I've decided to go in early to work instead, so I can get home at a decent hour. It's "get-out-the-luggage-tonight" Friday!

1. One week ago there were 23 sleeps left before the cruise. Now there are 16!

2. I lived in Indianapolis, Indiana when I was young.

3. Mama told me nothing that I can remember. She passed away when I was two years old.

4. Who knows what the future holds for you and me.

5. Take your time, but continue to take risks!

6. The storm will pass!

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to sleeping, tomorrow my plans include working at "the day job" and Sunday, I want to rest!
