Welcome to the 4th Annual OWOH event.  This is my 3rd year participating and I am sooooo excited to take the Magic Carpet Ride around the world again this year!  Last year we took a different mode of transportation - The Gypsy Caravan.

The event starts Monday, January 25th and the winner will be announced on February 15th.  I will announce the winner at 1:00 a.m. *smiles*

Ok, so what am I offering up for my OWOH prize you ask? . . .

A lined 200 page notebook - 9 3/4" x 7 1/2" that I have altered using fabric, recycled jeans, lace, pieces of vintage hook & eye cards nestled between the lace and the jean material.

Three vintage buttons were hand sewn through the layers.  An old rusted safety pin hold a strip of jean material, coffee stained fabric and a vintage piece of lace. 

The words "Take Note" handwritten in permanent ink on a strip of the blue and white ticking fabric.

The girl is one of my favorite rubberstamp images that I colored blue and transferred to another piece of the ticking fabric.

The back of the book is covered with more of the recycled jean material.
