Rubber, Friends, Food and Reflexology

Saturday?  Oh yeah, Saturday was a good day!

Seven (yes, 7!) hours of fun at the Rubber Stamp Convention.  Here are some photos from the convention. And since there are so many, I will load them small and you can click on the ones you want to get a larger view of . . .
embossed tag - really cool look!

the finished tag!
like-minded folks :)
random shots
tim signing his 100th stamp collection in gold ink for 100 lucky stampers!
here's a little story you may not have heard before:  tim was first asked by stamper's anonymous to create just 10 rubber stamps.  I'm not sure how many individual stamps he has created for them since then, but he now has 100 SETS completed.

I had lunch over at the hotel (across the parking lot from the convention) with a few friends and I took a really nice photo of everyone with my camera, but I didn't click "save" so I don't have it :(  Could one of you lovely ladies please send me a couple of the photos you took please?

After lunch we all walked BACK over to the convention and I finished up the day there sitting at the table watching tim.

Didn't do any atc's for the show this time, but I did go in the room and take photos of the winning cards before I left for you to see . . .
The show ended at 4pm and Mary, Trina, Lisa and I decided to stop in Huntington Beach on the way home and have dinner at Romano's Macaroni Grill
So you would think that after 7 hours of sitting, standing, walking and eating that we would be ready to just get home and call it a day right?  Well, not quite.

Trina suggested that since we were in Huntington Beach that we all go to this place called New Life Reflexology over in Westminster for a massage.  That sounded "right up my alley".  And check THIS out - it was only $20 (I added a Chinese herbal mentholatum oil for $2 more) for an hour.  From head to toe . . . nice, very nice.  I will definitely be going back to THIS establishment.

What a perfect ending to a perfect day!

Post Script:  It was nice seeing you Genevieve and thank you for the atc's Carole and Mary.  Nice seeing everyone else I didn't get a photo of as WELL!

Great post, Sherry! What wonderful samples, and fabulous tag Tim made you. So nice seeing pix of Pam and Nancy and Christine and Gloria and Kathy...
And I'm so fortunate that Pam got one of those autographed collections for me. Art friends are the BEST friends!
