Don't grumble that Roses have Thorns - be thankful that Thorns have Roses

This is a mixed media piece I created using a mixture of molding paste and various acrylic paints on a 10" x 10" canvas for a shabby chic wall hanging.

I used a stencil and some of the same paints and molding paste mixed together for the leaf and stem design to add even more dimension.

A generous piece of vintage battenburg lace and a satin vintage flower with a piece of torn lace and a sheer ribbon tied into a bow has been added, along with a 3-ringed, 6-strand piece of light pink pearls that cascade down from the center of the bow.

Nice addition to a shabby chic decor or any spot in your home for a feminine touch.

I've listed this piece in my etsy shop. You can purchase it
HERE and find additional photo views.
