Huh?

I just found this bag of acrylic pieces that have paper backs. I remember that I bought them at the Carson Rubberstamp Convention probably a couple of years ago, but for the life of me, I don't remember why.

Does anyone out there in blogland know what these were intended for? A couple of them (the teapot and lizard) look like I sponged them with alcohol inks . . .

And there are a few bags with doll parts??? with holes in them. Whatever they are, I think they may be for making a necklace or something. Add some beads and wire??? . . .
Hey Linda from Stampmaiden's Artventures? You go to the conventions. Do you remember these?

and what's with the hearts with the keyhole cutouts? They are held in place with some masking tape on the back. I just don't get these.

LOL! Sherry, I thought I was the only one who did this. You know, buy something from the convention and forget why. HAHA! Last time I played with these we stamped on them using Staz On ink, painted over the image using twinkling H2Os and then sealed the whole thing with Diamond Glaze. Hope this helps!

Sherry, you are so much fun! You can also adhere a work of art behind them (paper) and include them in mixed media collages, use them for mobiles, etc.

That's so funny! I've gotten to where I write/draw what I mean to do with random things because I KNOW I won't remember something that's outside of my mainstream.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who can't remember what I was thinking when. Anyway, maybe you put them away to return them later and then forgot. That only reason I say that is because that's something I've done more times than I care to admit! Have a great holiday weekend and stay safe!

I have some acrylic hand shapes like this Sherry but the brown paper peels off so both sides end up clear. Are yours like this or is the paper really stuck to them?

I had "intended" to alcohol ink and stamp them....haven't got around to it of course, but at least I know WHERE they are in my room!!! lol

Hi Sherry!
Thanks for visiting signing up for the necklace giveaway! As for buying things and then forgetting what you are suppose to do with them....well, it happens to me all the time!

HAHAHA! I try to stay away from the Carson show because I always come home with "new" things I just have to have and they always have to be multiples. Like the stippling brushes - I just had to have 6 for different colors. It's amazing what I find when I start cleaning. Like duplicate stamps, both of which I've never used!!

ha ha ha I am laughing out loud. I am so glad I am not the only one that does this sort of thing. I see by the comments there are alot of us.

But true to form of the internet SOMEONE out "there" knows and comes to the rescue.
