Today at Gilding the Lily

I taught 5 lovely ladies at Gilding the Lily this afternoon. I wish I could show you their photos, but I was so immersed in conversation and teaching, that I failed to take their pictures! And I only took a couple of photos of the completed necklaces! *sigh*.

If your necklace isn't shown here and you are reading this post, please take a picture of your creation and e-mail it to me if you can, so I can add it here with the other two, ok?

I DID manage to get a photo of the "treats" that Nancy Jamar put together for us before she left to go back home. Today is Nancy's birthday, and she was still recuperating from a bad cold. Thank you for the delicious cake and sweet strawberries Nancy! After the ladies left class, I walked around the store and snapped a few photos before I headed home . . .

ooooooooh, look at the glitter . . .

This photo was taken outside looking into one of the store's front windows . . .

Thank you Alicia Munoz, Robin Milligan, Lia Biscoe, Sandy Navarro and Linda Bucci for joining me today in an afternoon of creating. It was so nice meeting you Alicia, Lia and Sandy, and nice seeing you again Robin and Linda!

And to the rest of you . . . If you haven't been to Gilding the Lily before, it's a fabulous MUST SEE - MUST SHOP vintage store in downtown Fullerton.

Great photos! I am green with envy that I don't live closer!! That looks like a fabulous class! Guilding the Lily looks wonderful! Love the torso mannequin! I just bought one for display purposes in my antique booth!

I hope your students send in pics so we can see what they did!! Love the project!

Ditto what Judy said about wanting to live closer! There seem to be a lot of cool things going on in your neck of the woods!
