Even though I had to go back to work at "the day job" yesterday, I'm still in the groove with Creative Every Day 2009. I know being creative every day does not mean that it has to be art-related, but I'm in the paint and collage mode at the moment.
Tuesday evening I created the following piece I have titled 2 Friends . . .
The background of this piece is created on black cardstock using rubberstamps, paints and molding paste . . .
closeup of the molding paste mixed with paint and applied through a piece of Punchinella (plastic ribbon that is left over after sequins are punched out) - also referred to as "sequin waste" . . .
Thanks for stopping by!

rubberstamped figures of 2 children, cut out and glued to matboard that I covered in circle printed paper . . .
I used a black sharpie pen to ink the edges of the card and then used a white paint pen to place little dots on the black border. The #2 in the lower right-hand corner is a vinyl sticker . . . and for my scrapbooking friend, Robin :) the piece is 6" x 6"Thanks for stopping by!
