The Happenings This Week

Thursday is the first day of Sugar Plum Crafts at the Orange County Fairgrounds. One of my co-workers and I are taking a half day vacation to go to this event. This will be my first time going for the "Christmas" show.

Piecemakers, in Costa Mesa is having their "Christmas Under the Stars" Craft Fair on Friday and Saturday, December 5th - 5pm to 9pm and December 6th - 9am to 4pm. Jacki e-mailed me about this fair. I've never been to this one either. Since it's only about a 5 minute drive from work, I think I'll run by here on Friday after work.

Also on Friday is my department potluck and "steal-a-gift" event at "the day job". Always a fun time for that get-together! Sorry, no outsiders for this event *hee hee*Then on Saturday, JoAnn's Antique Mall in Lake Forest, is having another one of their parking lot sales. The last one was really good several months back! Directions: From the 5 Freeway, exit Lake Forest Drive, head east, turn right onto Rockfield Blvd., turn right onto Mercury Rd.

Sunday is "The Groves" Antique Market at Irvine Valley College. Directions: Exit 5 or 405 at Jeffrey Road. Hours: 7am to 3pm (this is a photo of my friend, Janice Golden's booth)

Also on Sunday, Kelly Kilmer is teaching her Swatches workshop at the ARTbar. Visit Kelly's blog for photos or visit the ARTbar's website for more details regarding the workshop. Register for this class by calling The ARTbar at 714-558-2445 or stopping in the Studio.

And if all of this isn't enough for you to get into, or you don't happen to live in Southern California, you can hop over to tim's blog (ahhh, that would be tim as in holtz, of course), and do his 12 tags of Christmas! oooooooh, it's only Day 1 and i'm lovin' it already!!

AND, if you don't want to leave the house but need to get some holiday shopping done or maybe just pick up some creative supplies, hop on over to my etsy shop and see what's new and what's been marked waaaaaaaaay down.

Ok, so that's it so far. Do you know of any fun things going on this week on or off line???? Feel free to share.

You are one lucky lady, all those craft sales around you! Wow! I love your new Holiday banner, too. Very festive.

I checked out the etsy store and had to pick me up two of those lenses, I can't wait to alter those!

Have a great week!

Tim Holtz's Christmas tag for Day #2 is soooo pretty. I can't stop drooling over it.
