Today at Paris to the Moon

Instead of doing laundry and the other housework that needed to be done this morning, I slept in until 6am (I'm usually up by 4ish), got up and showered, and then headed over to Costa Mesa to Paris to the Moon's Artist Market event. I mean really, the laundry and housework isn't going anywhere - right?

I'm really sorry if you didn't make it to this event today, because Carolyn Waitt was one of the vendors, and WOW! . . . she had the most amazing vintage bottles for sale today at PHENOMENAL prices just for this event. Listen, I KNOW what goes into making these bottle creations, so you can believe me when I tell you that.

Click on the photos below and get a closer look at some of her creations . . . I picked up a couple of beveled glass pieces, vintage watch parts (can never have enough of THOSE!) and some vintage printer's blocks with my initials, from Carolyn's table.

Nice seeing you today Carolyn and meeting your husband. You two make a nice couple *smiles*
ooooooo and check out this sterling silver piece I purchased from a box marked $5.00 each that I found under a table in the back store - Paris Underground. When I saw this piece, I immediately thought ooooh, this would make a cool base for an assemblage doll!! . . .

Then there was this piece. It looks like it was a handle to something. The pieces on both ends swivel, so when I saw it, I thought huuuum, that would make a nice hanger for a wall hanging . . .
A few photos inside the store today . . .

Continue to have an art-filled weekend. The laundry can wait - really, it CAN!*smiles*
