One of my guys at work got tickets to today's game. AND he got good seats! I tried to make him work today so I could get the tickets and go, but he wasn't going for it. I can't say I blame him. We're both Indianapolis Colts fans. I was raised in Indianapolis and was always a huge basketball fan - but who ISN'T when you're in Indiana? We didn't have a pro football team when I lived there.
Here's a tidbit of info for you. Prior to the 1984 season, the Colts moved from Baltimore to Indianapolis. The team packed all of their belongings into Mayflower moving trucks in the middle of a snowy night on March 28th. This move pissed a lot of Baltimore fans and former players off so much, that they completely disassociated themselves from the relocated Indianapolis team. Yikes!
Anyway, I had already moved out to California by that time, so I never got to go to any of the games. But it doesn't matter that I live out here in sunny Cali, I'm still a huge fan of the Colts, the Pacers, and any other sports team that comes out of Indy! Good, bad, or indifferent -smiles Oooohhh, did I hear someone say Bobby Knight? Bad boy, bad boy. Watcha gonna do when they come for you?
So I guess I'll be glued to the television set at 5:00pm since Miguel wouldn't give up those tickets for today's game. But that's cool . . . I'll be able to go to my own personal powder room when needed and the food I eat won't cost me an arm and a leg. So THERE - Ha!
Colts vs The Chargers (Football IS Art!)
Ohhh, how I would love to be driving down to San Diego this afternoon, wearing one of these as I pulled up in the parking lot at Qualcomm Stadium for the Colts versus Chargers game today!

While I have nevah been a Colts fan, regardless of which town they have resided in, I LOVE the STEELERS and would be wearing my TERRIBLE SHIRT right now and waving my TERRIBLE towel IF I were still a size SMALL, and not a LARGE in real life, lol!
