2nd Update to Vacation Day - 7
Back home from a really nice day in Laguna Beach. The Sawdust Art Festival was fun.
Saw a lot of great artwork and even met some of the artists. Some of my favorites . . .
The following artwork is by a young woman by the name of Allison Keefe. Allison is from Laguna Beach. I LOVED the colors of her pieces - so vibrant! Purchased a couple of her printed cards.
Hey Mary Ann, check THIS painting out. Allison used Krylon Spray Paint, and even placed a can of it in the hands of the girl in her painting!
This piece is by Jesse Miller, Multi Medium Artist. Love the way he turned the canvas *cock-eyed* and incorporated the wood. Amazing.
This is Betty Haight, Oil Painter. Loved her artwork and talking with her about it.
Along with her solo works of art, she has also collaborated with Kathy Jones as well as Stephanie Cunningham on some art pieces. Loved her *Duets* where she attaches two different size canvases together to make one picture. Check out her website for more of her art.
Interesting Female Wirework
Ahhhh could this be the female's counterpart?
Love the addition of the partially eaten apples!
Made with wood and lots of other fun stuff. Click on photo to see larger view. . .
Sculpture of female women outside the entrance along the walkway . . .
Walked across the street to Festival of Arts. Couldn't take photos at this venue, but just as you enter, there are these cutouts you can put your head through to become a piece of art. Don't I look stylish with my shades on? . . .
Outside Festival of Arts
A walk along the Laguna Beach boardwalk . . .
And to end the day, this is a view from Claes On the Beach in the Hotel Laguna while having a cocktail . . .
Have I mentioned how much I'm enjoying this time off from *the day job*? (smiles)

Hi Sherry,
Can't wait to see your AU review! Have a safe trip home.
Marissa
So wonderful to have so many fantastic venues to visit at the same time. My favorite was the incorporated frame, that was beautiful! The beach and a coctail, that is the life...gina
I found you from Vanessa V's blog and have to say I really love your work! Thanks for showing the pic's on the festival as well, I don't think I'm going to have time to go this year and miss it so. I too live in OC! I'm in Aliso Viejo and It's always nice to meet blog artist that live near by!
So, I might have a thing for spray paint, and I think this artist TOTALLY understands that.
