My latest necklace - Tim Holtz Idea-ology Fragments, laser wood cuts, Tim Holtz Distress Stain - Broken China, Tim Holtz Distress Stain - Faded Jeans, Cavallini decorative paper - Flora & Fauna Birds & Music 20"x28" parent sheet.
A little wired bird nest with blue eggs, metal birds from Tim Holtz Idea-ology Adornments, words/definitions from dictionary
Decorated the Fragment backsides in blues to coordinate with the front sides if they turn while being worn
That's it for today.
And for those of you following my "C" journey . . . here's an update:
Went to see Dr. Smith (cutie pie plastic surgeon) last Thursday. No more tissue expansion procedures. My last one was April 27th.
The tissue expanders need to stay in place for another month and a half and then I will have surgery to remove the expanders and replace them with breast implants. I am sooooo looking forward to getting these out of me!
And in case you're wondering what they feel like, do you or have you ever worn a bra with underwires? Well it feels like a bra with an underwire that goes around the whole bra and filled with fluid until your skin feels like those tight leather pants you wore as a teenager. Yep, that's what it feels like.

Beautiful necklace!!
I'm so glad to read you're about done with your expanders! Jane starts her injections this coming week - all's going well!
Oh gee, I see I've missed a lot. The necklace is gorgeous Sherry! Are you cancer free now? I sure hope so!
As for leather pants, I was never brave enough to wear them, I had too many bulges...lol.
What a stunning necklace!
Your description of the expanders did make me smile, and I am glad you will be able toget your implants soon. Hugs always.
Sherry, this is beautiful! Love your art!
Corrr, Sherry, this is AMAZING... so much detail... tis beautiful. Glad to hear you don't need anymore expansion... sounds really uncomfortable hun... but... I am sure it will be worth it once the surgery is over and done with... you made me smile with the leather pants remark.. yep, remember those very well. Big hugs for you xxx
Fabulous necklace (as always)!
The expanders certainly do not sound comfortable. Hope the month and half speeds by for you. Will be saying prayers for you.
The necklaces just get more beautiful. Love this one too. Thanks for the update on your health. And yes, it sounds awfully uncomfortable. Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.

Sherry, this necklace is super-duper cool! I love blue, butterflies and birds!!!
You are one tough cookie and if anyone can handle those expanders it's you. Hang in there girl. See you sooner than you think!

Hi, Keep making those beautiful necklaces and time will fly by...I hope!:)
Well, another beauty...they just keep getting better and better....just like you!
been there, I had an expander on he left side, it was hard as a rock filled to over capacity for implant... Expander was 900 cc implant only 800 cc. My reconstruction was in March, I was so happy to not have that pain anymore...
I love the necklaces!!! I've been wanting to do something with my fragments, just haven't yet... Night have to use you for inspiration
Beautiful necklace, Sherry! Definitely my style! Hang in there, woman. Keep creatively distracting yourself! xoxox
Another beautiful necklace... that wire-feeling sounds awful. Glad you'll soon be done with it.
Another triumph necklace, love it and another step in the right direction 'c' wise.. So do you get to pick what perky cup size you have lol sending a hug x
such a gorgeous necklace, and glad to see you are doing well :))
Keep up the fight!
