WOYWW? #49

WOYWW - What's on Your Workdesk Wednesday seems to come around so quickly don't you think?  Yikes!  This Wednesday the "workdesk" is a total MESS!  Too many things going on here that I can't even get started on anything new.  But here it is in all its glory *hee hee* . . .

Isn't that a cool cardboard French script container that I'm housing my string in?!  I got it from LaurieAnna's Vintage Home.  And of course there is always at least one pair of Ionic scissors on any work surface at the time.  Found my miniature rusty bird cages and some little faux bird eggs to use in that white shadow box you see on the right.

Here's some Waverly French script fabric called PenPal Parchment.  They have it in the upholstery section at my JoAnn's ETC craft store in Portola Hills.  At $25 a yard I only got 1/2 yard, and with my 40% coupon it didn't set me back that much.  I'm going to cover a chair seat cushion with it once I find my staple gun.

I love my vintage Standard 2-tier metal stamp holder.  I haven't filled it  completely with the blending tools yet, but I'm working on it.  And there's one of Lezlei's hand-sculpted birds looking over all the mess on the table *hee hee*.

A container of Tim Holtz Idea-ology stuff
The other side of the container with more TH stuff
Some little tin birdies looking like they're waiting
to go on stage for American Bird Idol :)
A glass bowl filled with wood laser cuts, jump rings
and other little doodads
Was this on the table as a subliminal message that it's time to clean up now? I think that's a clear YES!

Sherry, I have enjoyed reading your blog and all these back posts. You had me from hello, but the $25 a yard fabric REALLY stopped me:) I think I'm in the wrong business. I've got French script galore and I've been told it's easy as can be to transfer images to fabric. Could I be on to something here?!
