Scrapbook Convention and CHA Therapy

Thank you all for your nice comments on my previous post (Push Part II) while I stepped back from Blogland for a bit to handle some things in my personal life. I am still applying my new word for 2010 - PUSH, and the storm is not completely over, but I have put what I can't handle myself at the feet of His! I know that some of you know what I mean.

This Saturday I am looking forward to the Scrapbook Convention at the Costa Mesa Fairgrounds with my buddy Linda Bucci.  She's been working on a children's line of jewelry, so I am anxious to see and hear all about it.  She's already sold several pieces to a new store that just opened!  I will let you know all about it once I get the whole scoop.

I'm not big on company, but when Lezlei tells me she's coming to town, that's a different story!

She will be flying into John Wayne airport next Thursday and we'll be heading off to Anaheim for the Craft Super Show on Friday morning.

I live about 25 miles from the Convention Center, so we won't have to stay at a hotel.  We can just go back and forth both days - Friday and Saturday.

This is the first time they are having the CHA Craft Super Show (January 22-23) which is open to the public, so I am curious to see how it will compare to the CHA Trade Show (January 24-27).

We didn't sign up for any classes, because I was thinking that if it's even HALF as much going on as what goes on at the Trade Show, we should be plenty tired at the end of both days!

Not sure if they will be allowing picture-taking at the event, but I will take my camera just in case.

I think some convention and CHA therapy is just what the doctor ordered! *smiles*

Glad you're back! Say hi to Lezlei for me and tell her I'm working on a project with one of her fab little birdies.
Wish I could join you, but the Lottery Commission has yet to inform me of my big win.
