One Day at a Time

ahhhh, just chillin' on our cabin balcony as we sailed along the mexican riviera

Sadly, I had to take Lezlei to the airport this morning to return to Texas. I stopped at the Post Office on the way back home to mail three Etsy orders, went grocery shopping (manchild ate up just about everything I had left him), and then it was all about the laundry and cooking dinner. Yes, I am officially off vacation! *insert huge sigh here*

I'm so glad that I took today off from "the day job", but I'm back at it tomorrow. Soooo, I think the best way for me to tell you all about my Artful Voyage to Mexico cruise will be to share a little "one day at a time".

Today I'll share this - The Grungeboard Journal we each created to keep our memories in for the cruise. But first things first! Had to have a mojito to help get those creative juices flowing!

So here are some pages from the journal I made. This is the front cover (so far):
Day 1 "Bon Voyage" stamped and distressed bag with Glossy Accents over the stamped words:

Day 2 Pages - Don't you just LOVE these papers?!:

Tags for journaling:

A "Fun" page:

A stamped transparency over a solid colored page:

Some pages for Day 3. This is a coffee-stained canvas piece I brought from home that fit perfectly in this journal:
I brought some sticky-backed library cards along as well.

Day 4 Page:

Day 5 Page - this was one of the small tabbed folders I had packed that worked out nicely in my journal:

Day 6:

Day 7 distressed paper bag stamped and a little Platinum Stickles Glitter Glue added. You know I NEVER leave home without my Platinum Stickles!!:

Day 8 bag stamped with Glossy Accents "here and there":

Inside back cover of my journal with a couple of tags. I brought the tag on the right (coffee-stained) from home and just stamped it with one of the many TH rubberstamps in our "24/7 studio":

Back side of my journal - Claudine Hellmuth's sticky backed canvas (LOVIN' this stuff!!) that Tim printed a map of Mexico on (like the cover of the journal) and then I inked it up:

And these are some additional tags I made to journal on:

Well, that's it for today Blogger Buddies. But stay tuned, because there is soooooo much more to come! Did I tell you I had the time of my life?! And did I tell you the food was DE-LI-CIOUS?!
Yeah, well, THIS will be my cuisine of choice over the next couple of months now that I'm off that ship! . . .

Beautiful journal and those mojitos look delicious. The nice thing about blogs is that I get to live vicariously through others.

Hey, girl, I'm with you on the Lean Cuisine dinners. I think I am having dessert withdrawal!! It's pretty bad when you have dessert with a snack!!

Your journal looks great...you're ahead of me on that one.

My DH loves the ATC I snagged from you...very clever! It was great meeting you!!
