K.c. Willis Fabric Collage

Many many blog posts ago sometime in June, I told you about a give-away that K.c. Willis of Lipstick Ranch was having on her blog.

She offered everyone that did a blog post about her workshops a piece of her artwork, and mine came in the mail last week. Don't you just love the piece I received?! I have been touching it and smelling it (coffee!) and Ooooh I just love it.

K.c. has recently started offering in-person workshops in her Colorado studio that you can sign up for right HERE and she's still offering her KC Willis Collage Camp workshops on-line HERE.

Thank you K.c. for the lovely piece of your artwork! Now I know what I'm going to do with a shadow box I've had sitting around waiting to be painted to house something in :)

Lucky girl! I have two of her pieces and love each one! I have so enjoyed her collage camp. It gave me a real boost in creativity and took me back to using fabric, which I love to work with.

Also, I coffee dyed with vanilla flavored instant coffee. Talk about smelling good!! It filled the house with a yummy fragrance!

What a coincidence! I just happen to have a book by Jill Hagland in which KC Willis was a contributor and shows step by step how to create her WONDERFUL fabric collages. The book... "Creating With Fabric" by Jill Hagland. There are also other great contributors!!!
