The day started out with a Fine Silver Fusing class from one of my favorite instructors - Carolyn Waitt . . .
Met some lovely ladies . . .
Martha was here (photo below in black on the left) visiting from the desert. Hadn't seen her since we met at the Cindy Forrester workshops last October, so it was really nice to reconnect.
Marilyn sat next to me (lady on the right) - Nice meeting you Marilyn :) We didn't get to talk too much, but we exchanged blog addresses before she left and oh my, Marilyn is quite the beader! Check out her blog at Cigar Box Beads and her etsy shop HERE
Marley came out to visit with the ladies . . .
Bob returned from his Saturday morning painting class and got in on the act . . .
This is the Fine Silver Fused bracelet I made. No flux, copper tape or soldering for this technique . . .
After class, I got to spend some quality time with Linda, Bob and Martha. And of COURSE, Bob prepared his wonderful bbq'd steaks for the four of us out on the patio.
We had a perfectly baked potato along with Linda's salad and some fresh-from-a-neighbor's-garden zucchini.
I snapped a quick photo of Martha (above) and then put the camera down and got back to my OWN plate! *smiles*
Creating and learning new techniques, meeting new friends, visiting with old ones, sipping on red wine and enjoying the best steak dinner around . . . I couldn't have asked for a better Saturday!

sounds like you had a wonderful time.
You are so talented with so many different media! I love seeing your work and hearing how it came about.
Does Bob do mail order...? I really think that one of his barbeque steaks would revive me to the point where I could stop using my support stocking on my bad leg! ( FOTFLMAO!)
Amazing, there is a place I would love to hang out and see you again Sherrie! Ciao
