I met Mary Ann through OWOH in February of 2008. She was the winner of my OWOH giveaway, as a matter of fact. We “clicked” and are now BFF.
Could it be she lives in Ohio and I grew up in Indiana?
Could it be she’s a paper freak and so am I? Could it be our sense of humor? Maybe it’s the OCD we share in common. Whatever the reasons, I know I have a friend for life that lives in the Midwest!
Well, get this . . . we have never heard each other’s voice! Nope, we’ve never even spoken to each other by telephone! It’s been an on-line friendship for a year now.
Do you think it’s time to take the relationship to another level and exchange phone numbers and have a “live” conversation?
I'm e-mailing Mary Ann, to give her my cell phone number (sure would be nice if she was a Verizon subscriber). If not, we can talk our heads off after 9pm during the week and all day long on Saturdays and Sundays.
And, not to rush things *hee hee*, but maybe one day in the future, we can go a step further and maybe actually MEET IN PERSON! Ooooooooh, now THAT would be a treat.
And speaking of treats . . . My birthday gift from Mary arrived in this vintage box. I just love old boxes!

Should I point out now that when I did call and said, "This is Mary Ann!" you said, "Who?" HA HA!
Also did you notice how VERY thin our alter egos are in that collage? I like to think we are both that thin with such long legs and good hair.

LOL!! That WAS funny! I looked at the number on my cell phone and said to myself "who the heck is this calling me at this time of night?!" Then when I answered and this voice said, "This is Mary Ann", well, I guess I could try to blame it on my recent birthday? That was just TOO funny - HA
