Snowmen/Snowladies and an Invite to My First Art Walk Event in Long Beach

closeup of vintage jacks hair

So yesterday, I decided not to go to the parking lot sale at JoAnn's Antiques in Lake Forest. It really took a lot of willpower not to drive the 4 miles to the sale, but as I was visiting blogs Saturday morning, I read Queenly Things latest post. Vallen's post was about focusing and prioritizing - both of which I needed to do!

I need to finish making these Bottle and Salt Shaker Snow people that I decided (sort of at the last minute) to make to sell. If it wasn't for "the day job", I could have made a ton of these by now. However, a single woman who is not independently wealthy, must have steady employment right? *sigh*

No snow people were harmed in the making of the following. All heads were made from clay.

Saturday, this is where I plan to sell my snow people, along with several other items . . .I would like to invite you to my first vendor sale at the 2nd Saturday Artwalk in the East Village Arts District in Downtown Long Beach on Saturday, December 13th from 4:00pm to 10:00pm.
Admission is FREE and there will be live music, a special performance by fire dancers, works of arts and crafts, and all of the local galleries will be open.
It would be so nice to have your support at this event. Bring the family! Spread the word!

Drat! I would seriously come down for that except I have Flea Market that day.
I absolutely adore those snow peeps. What a terrific idea!!!
I, too, passed up the thrifts this weekend and kept my eyes ahead - focused.
