HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Every year you hear the same question: "What are you doing for New Year's?"

Where is it written that we have to go out on New Year's Eve? The last time I went to a New Year's Eve party, I had to drive 40+ miles back home. That meant that I had to have my one glass of champagne very early in the evening.

The whole party thing is overrated if you ask me.

So last year I stayed home. I had to set my alarm clock so I would make sure I was awake to watch the ball drop. Color me "not so excited".

I think this year I'll forego the alarm clock and get some needed sleep *smiles*.

Party? New Year's Eve is for amateurs. Professionals just sleep through it.

Wishing you a healthy and Happy New Year.
We don't go out for New Years anymore either. We much prefer staying home and off the roads away from those that are out there driving and shouldn't be.
I did get to see the ball drop, however the Mr. was already snoring.

Admittedly, today's champagne hangover is not the best idea.

Spent New Year's eve helping son move boxes to their (His, Heather's, coming babe) new apt!
Missing my whole rest of the fam (except said son) today, as they are either in Massachusetts or all on their way to New Mexico to party with extended fam. It's just me and Silver, spending the next few days moving and unpacking. It's what it is!!!
Happy New Year my friend!
