friday after thanksgiving

at "the bar" . . .

it sure was nice to be off work today - another thing to be thankful for this thanksgiving weekend *smiles*.

went to the artbar today for their big sale. oooooooooooh weeeeeeeeee, if you didn't get there today . . . well, let's just say that i'm sorry you couldn't make it. i did pretty good in the way of keeping to my budget (budget?!)

i don't want to make you jealous with the bargains i got, so i'll just post a few photos i took from around the store . . .

kim working hard to keep the customers happy . . .

nicole in the back studio teaching a metal embossing class . . .

nicole stepping out to the front to help a customer . . .

P.S. it was nice to see eileen, jacki, janice and bella today in the store as well.

P.S.S. Jacki is the Jacki Long (award-winning graphic artist) that teaches that "can’t-miss, no fail” approach to multi-media collage, where tearing results in a free, spontaneous creation. Go pull out your March/April Somerset Studio magazine to see her work. She doesn't have a blog or etsy shop yet, but it's on her list of things to do for 2009. Right Jacki? *smiles*

here's a piece I created in her class last year . . .

P.S.S.S. has anyone bought the latest Somerset Studio Gallery - Winter 2009?
