Saturday, June 7th

Saturday was a good day. But then again, EVERY Saturday is a good day when I can go out and play!

First stop: The Mercantile Flea Market in downtown Fullerton in the back lot of Carpe Diem

Here's a new booth I found there. Janice Golden's Paris Laundry - Antiques and Linens and Mosaic and Shell Art - OH MY! You can find Janice's items over at 131 N. Glassell in Orange, CA - Space #6. Here's a phone number as well (714) 543-3772. There was lots more in her booth, but I didn't want her to think I was stalking her or something! LOL I sure hope Janice is back next month. I forgot to pick up some really nice pieces of vintage barkcloth she had before I left - darn it!

And by the way, that is NOT Janice standing in the background. That was either the person running the booth next to hers or a customer wondering who the heck I was, taking pictures :-)

Then there was Angela Resendiz for the Home. Custom and readymade pillows, cushions, table linens, tassels, lampshades and window treatments, artwork for the walls, furniture, and other home accents. Phew!

That's Angela below:

Check out the vintage bed she brought to display some of her goods on!

You can also find Angela at the Irvine Flea market every 1st Sunday of the month.

Ok, so then it was off to the other side of town to visit Paris to the Moon and Paris Underground.
By the way, Paris to the Moon is having another one of their fabulous Flea Markets on Saturday, June 21st from 8:30am to 2:30pm in their parking lot. Antiques, vintage treasures, art supplies, textiles and bric-a-brac. I can hardly WAIT! Of course I will be there at 8:30am SHARP.

Look at THIS beauty over in the back store - Paris Underground that I spotted . . .

And these dolls in Paris to the Moon - in the the front store

Then it was back home to rest up for the 1st Saturday Santa Ana Artist Village Artwalk held in downtown Santa Ana from 7pm-10pm.

This is a mobile that was hanging inside the doorway leading into one of the art galleries

Stopped in to say hello to Nicole at The ARTbar while I was down there as well. I hadn't been there since she moved the store back downstairs. That woman is amazing! How she got all of the store's merchandise in there and still have room for a sofa AND a back room for classes is beyond me!
I was back home after 11 that night, and I can tell you that I did not have any problem at all getting a good night's sleep!

Oh Vallen, there are soooooo many more! I just can't get to everything all the time. This daggone day job of mine really gets in the way of me playing more. But then again, I guess it DOES pay the bills. LOL
