This is me in the early 70's when I thought I was related to Angela Davis!I was going through some boxes of photos to weed out and reorganize, and ran across these from waaaaaaaay back in the day.

This was prom night. Ooooooooooo weeeeeeeeeee! And look at my backdrop drapes?! If you weren't laughing before, you have GOT to be laughing right about now!

I love your prom hair!!! Remember the hairpieces? Oh and the drapes? I think we had those very same ones or some very similar in our family room. I don't feel much older than you look in those pictures, do you? You could have done worse than to channel Ms. Power-to the-People Davis!! Thanks for the memories.
Yes I remember the hairpieces! That was part of my "prom hair" in that photo. LOL And no, I don't feel much older than back then (smiles).

Yes I was laughing and thinking back to myself and relized I blocked out most of the 70's. I wonder why LOL....
My sister graduated in '73 and she had a prom dress so similar to yours even the color AND she had her hair fixed almost just like yours except she had bangs! I love seeing photos from the 60's and 70's when we grew up! Both my sisters died young-40 and 49 and I love reliving the memories. Thanks for sharing these lovely photos!
