If you don't live somewhere within driving distance to this store I found today . . . well, you're probably going to hate me for the following blog post. Maybe "hate" is too strong, but I can guarantee you that you will at least be a little bit envious.
Gilding the Lily is a little store in downtown Fullerton, California that carries vintage EVERYTHING! Millinery, feathers, textiles, ribbons, trims, lace, appliques, ephemera, dresdens, jewelry findings, filigrees, cabachons, baroque pearls and MORE!
Look at all of the things I saw in the store today . . .
Then there was the ribbon. This was the blue section . . .

and last but not least, this is Gilding the Lily's Muse. She watches over the store and Nancy Jamar - the store owner.
Gilding the Lily is located at 305 N. Harbor Blvd., Suite 101 in downtown Fullerton, CA 92832, and they are open Tuesday through Saturday 11am to 6pm. Sundays are by appointment, and Lily's blog is gildingthelilyvintage.blogspot.com
