Before I show you my upcycled Blue Moon 6-pack, I just had to share this photo of my friend Linda Ledbetter of Studio L3 who was a participant in the Race for the Cure in Boise, Idaho today wearing my name on her back.
I am just so honored for her to be celebrating my survival of this awful disease called breast cancer. Here is my sweet friend giving the thumbs up. Thank you.
Now really folks, how can I NOT continue the fight with support like this?! . . .

At the end of my last blog post I showed you this . . .
This is what it looks like now holding art supplies that can be ready to go at a moment's notice . . .
Products used: Claudine Hellmuth's Sable Brown and Traditional Tan Studio paints, Tim Holtz Paper Stash Crowded Attic, Idea-ology Tissue Tapes (various), Idea-ology Ornate Plates, Fragments, Glossy Accents, Inkssentials Wonder Tape, Idea-ology Metal Corners, vintage ruler pieces, findings, a custom laser wood cut, a rub-on and bubble wrap.
And I reinforced the bottom with some recycled corrugated cardboard . . .

Thanks for sharing, this is awesome, I may have to try something like this, I really like it!!! Also. congrats on being a survivor, I am one too. Diagnosed in Nov 2009, had the last surgery, my reconstruction on left and reduction on right in March... Just looking forward, dealing with chemo brain, also known as chemonesia (heard that today from another survivor), and trying to find my oomph (it disappeared through much of this--too much anesthesia I think). Love the ATT group!

That's a great art carrier! I see lots of lovely boxes made that I know wouldn't last 5 mins with me as I am always carrying art supplies around but this is really practical and inspirational. TFS

First of all, the carrier is both beautiful and useful and I'm sure there will be lots of us copying that idea as soon as we're finished drinking, LOL.
