So here's my submission for the challenge. I don't know if this is cheating or not, since I didn't make this charm necklace "just for the challenge", but the pieces were made using the techniques on Page 64 nonetheless :) . . .
Charm Necklace was made with Fragments, laser wood cut pieces, a few game pieces, other embellishments and some TH papers (of course!)
PS A few additional RAK's received last week . . . a note of news, tea and a tag from my friend Janice Golden
Janice created this prayer box necklace for me the night I had my first surgery. She said she made it from nervous energy. It is just beautiful! . . .
Here's a close up of the soldered beauty . . .
This candle (which is burning in my living room as I type!) was included in the package from Janice . . .
And the good news that Janice shared with me was that she got published for the first time! I am so proud of her for taking the plunge and submitting a piece of her work to Stampington for publication. You can see the piece to the right on the paper my prayer box is laying on below . . .
Received some cards from friends and family and a novel from my friend Dianne back in Chicago . . .
PS The Warrior Women Blog Hop begins tomorrow. What's THAT you ask? Be sure to stop by HERE tomorrow to read all about it! I can tell you this much . . . there's going to be a lot of fun going on!!

Well, this not only made my day, it made my entire week! Sherry it's so good to have you back, I'm tearing up a little here! It's like the universe has righted itself.
You fragment charms set the standard, and I still remember the first time I saw a photo of one of your exquisite necklaces. I just sat there staring at it, saying, "Oh, how COOL!" over and over. You've inspired me from day one, and continue to do so in ever-increasing ways.
Your life is your art, and you're creating such a masterpiece!
Love,
Linda

Yep, when I saw the challenge title, my first thought was, Sherry will be all over this one! lol! Your fragment jewelry is exceptional, I love all of it. And how great to come back from the cruise and find the news that there is no chemo, no radiation? WONDERFUL! I'm so happy for you! That is the best news EVER!
Wonderful charms! I am so glad you don't have to do chemo or radiation. I am also glad you are getting so much support. Sharing your story helps us all.
Keep on doing what you're doing - it's obviously the right stuff! Love the necklace even though jewelry isn't my thing. Have fun teaching but take it easy. Maybe you'll blog your class project?
Absolutely fantastic piece of jewellery. I have just participated in the blog hop and I just wanted to pop by and say how wonderful it is to here the positive news that you do not need chemo or radiotherapy. I am so so pleased for your and glad to hear you are recovering well. The blog hop really made me sit back and think as my Mother-in-Law has beaten breast cancer and sometimes everyday life takes over and it is good to sit back for a while and just think of others. Much love and positive vibes I'm sending your way. Tracy Evans x x
Sherry, so glad to see you back at creating! and what a beautiful piece it is.
The only thing better than my cruise experiences was coming home and learning that you won't need chemo or radiation therapy. You go, girl! You are a warrior woman!
And of course, I LOVE your fragment art!
