Steampunk Savannah - The Journey Girl

Spent the day with some art friends creating.  Meet Steampunk Savannah -The Journey Girl.

Here she is all decked out in a leather corset I made.  Did you know you can easily cut leather with Tim Holtz Non-Stick Micro Serrated ScissorsI'm sure you already know these are my all-time favorite scissors :)
I found this doll-size top hat at my local party store and embellished it further with watch parts for the steampunk theme . . .
I made a little rusty wire bracelet and hung one of Tim's metal Journey tags from it so she will remember that every day is a journey . . .
The additional pieces in Savannah's hair are made from cheesecloth that I dyed using a faux rusted technique and Adirondack Color Wash-Sunset Orange

Here's hoping all my blogger friends have a wonderfully creative weekend!  Love you - xo
