Well this week this isn't really MY workdesk, but this is where I had a "play date" at my friend's home :)
I brought my baked artichoke dip that we munched on while we played. That's it back there in the white dish to the right of the distress tools . . .
We distressed with inks and DE-stressed with red wine!
Using some German Glittler Glass, I glittered up a chandelier I made out of grungeboard. I plan to add some rhinestones and some sort of chain-type thingie at the top so it can be hung . . .
My friend and I always have a great time playing together. Plus, she makes the best salad in town!

playdates are the best! Looks like fun! I am LOVING my Vagabond; you know the one I didn't need, but caved in and bought? It is fabulous. I will never get rid of my BigShot, but this baby is so awesome!
Oh I do so love play dates - nothing better than to swap tools and stash - my second favorite that I have taken to is Skype Crafting - it is such fun to work away on a project whilst chatting to a craft mate - it often sparks Ideas i would never have had if crafting alonesome...I love your glass chandelier I bet it sparkles beautifully.
Your day sounded like it was a lot of fun. There is nothing better than to be with a friend who shares your compassion and love of art stuff.

I really wish I could see a demo of the Vagabond. I will have to wait until one of our local shops gets one in.
Looks like you had a fabulous time!! I love when I can get together with one of my for an evening. Sadly I'm the only one that crafts so it's usually just girl talk, food and wine. :)
