Sunday

Aside from the usual weekend laundry, changing of the bed sheets, grocery shopping and cooking, I was able to sit down long enough to finish that Valentine's Day charm necklace I started last week . . .
I used some Valentine's Day papers from the Idea-ology Seasonal Pack . . .
And you know I was gifted that Vagabond, right?  Well, the dies I ordered haven't arrived yet and I only have  one that's a flower - but not the one I can use to make grunge roses.

Back in November when I went to the Ellison Warehouse Sale I picked up some embossing folders.  Dang, I wish I had bought some of the dies!  *sigh*

I recently won some twine goodies on Eclectic Paperie's blog.  Included with the packages of twine were some wax paper-like bags and brown paper bags in different sizes.  I thought huuummm, let's try embossing some bags and tags . . .

I added some colors to the bags - they're on the table outside drying the old fashion way.  Didn't think drying them with the heat tool would be a good idea.   Chance of fire and all.  Will add color to the tags later this week.

This Saturday is my Charm Necklace workshop at Stamp Fever.  If you can make it, I sure would love to see you there!  Details for enrollment and some class samples can be found HERE

Fantastic necklaces and cute bags too! I am still waiting for my Vagabond to ship. I don't need another fie-cutter, but I just had to have it!!!

I enjoyed this post, because it made me recall when I got my very first machine...the original cumbersome red Sizzix with the crank type handle....wanting to cut and emboss anything that didn't move!
Enjoy it, and don't worry about not having much yet....I started out with a handful of dies and folders and can't even count what I've accumulated. Hunting down the bargains is half the fun.
