Posole and The Date Has Been Set

My friend Genevieve did not want me to miss out on her Posole party at Christmas time this year (due to my current "journey"), so she has invited me over to her home tomorrow for a day filled with homemade Posole and arts & crafts!  Click HERE for a link to last year's party.

I am soooo looking forward to my day with Gen.  And although this may sound a little selfish, I have to tell you, I'm glad it's a somewhat "private party" so I can have as much of Gen's Posole as I want!  *smiles*

Update on "The Journey":

I met with my surgeon on Wednesday and the date has been set for my bilateral mastectomy Tuesday morning, September 14th at Saddleback Memorial Hospital in Laguna Hills.

And if I haven't told you lately, I appreciate all the kind words, the prayers, the rak's, and the phone calls from each and every one of you.  And if you've e-mailed me or left comments here on my blog and I haven't gotten back to you, please know that I'm just a little busy getting ready for my upcoming fight and will get back to you real soon! :)  x o x o

Gosh Sherry, I have been absent from the computer for several weeks - will have to read back on your posts as this is the first I was aware of this journey of yours (I do like the
way you are viewing this! Fabulous attitude.....and that will get you far).

So glad that Lezlei and Dianne will be there with you to aid you on your
road to recovery. Loving support
(along with laughter) is the best
medicine!

Sending you warm, healthy wishes!
