My latest collage piece on canvas. This is Annie . . .
Created on a 5" x 7" canvas using acrylic paints, inks, gesso, papers, tissue, rubber stamps, a wood laser cut key, twisted rusty wire, rusted nails, metal corners and a copy from a vintage cabinet card.
I love all the elements you used, and it is just begging to be touched! I know it has to be even more wonderful in person. Like all great art, it connects with the viewer emotionally, and poses some questions too. Who is Annie? Makes you want to know more about her. Bravo! Eileen
Hi Sherry your collage is amazing! what a gorgeous image. I love the colors you used for this piece also. I have never been to Idlewild but am somewhat familar with that side of the state. My ex-inlaw live in Pentwater...and I believe it is northeast of there? There is a lot of my state I still need to explore! :)
I am a mixed-media artist and instructor-convention junkie-thrift store and flea market shopper. Born in Chicago, raised in Indianapolis, lived in South Orange County until February 2015 when I packed up, sold just about everything I owned and left the country to travel the World!
I suffer from ARTzheimer's Disease (Artz'hi'merz) - A disease that affects many artists and renders them helpless in the search for remembering where they put many of their arts & crafts supplies in and around their homes or studios.
