What a Weekend!

Saturday's workshop at Linda's was soooo much fun.  We had the workshop outside.  It was a beautiful Southern California day!  Here are some photos I took throughout the class . . .
I would like to thank Linda, Jodie, Marilyn, Mary, Trina, Lisa, Kim and her mother Glenda, Barbara, and Johnyne for taking the time out of their weekend to come play!  x o x o

After the ladies left, Marlena (Marley) was able to come out and play.  She had some new toys, so we played catch across the pool.  Sometimes I don't always get the toy to the other side, and Marley has to dip her head in the pool to get it.  Hence the wet face *hee hee* . . .
After a game of catch, Bob barbecued the best burgers EVER! . . .
I mean REALLY, who could have asked for a better way to end the evening?  Thank you (again and again) for another perfect Saturday at The Bucci's!

*********************************************
I guess Linda and I think we're "spring chickens" or something or maybe we had too much wine when we decided to do this!, but we both got up early this morning and met each other at the Irvine Vintage Flea Market at 8:30!  A few found items . . .
a box of miniature birds and animals
here they are all lined up
I've been looking for one of these scales at a price that didn't break the bank.  Finally found it!  The front is not really pink, it just looks that way in the sun facing forward . . .
and when I arrived at the flea market, Linda was carrying this . . .
Yep, it's mine! She knew I would like it :)

*****************************************
After the flea market, we headed over to Santa Ana to the Patchwork Indie Arts & Festival Showcase . . .
After walking through Patchwork and checking out all of the vendors, we drove over to Original Mike's Restaurant for a couple of "cold ones" and some taquitos and potato skins.  On either side of the bar hanging from the ceiling are these ladies.  Talk about "hangin' in there"! . . .
And last but not least, here's a photo of my son (Teenage Manchild) and his girlfriend (left in photo) getting ready  to leave to go to the Prom . . .
I'm totally beat!  Thanks for coming along on my journey this weekend.  Time to get ready to go back to "The Day Job" tomorrow *sigh*.  Ahhhh, but what a great weekend I had!
