Those Zentangled Bookmarks

A couple of blog posts ago, I showed you some Zentangled Bookmarks that I've made for the ladies in my workshop this Saturday as little "thank-you-for-coming" gifts.  PoetNessa from Writers of Wrongs website left a comment to ask if I would share how I put the bookmarks together.

I hope you won't be disappointed PoetNessa *or any other readers*, but this is how easy it was!  I started out with a 12-pack of bookmarks that I picked up from Michael's craft store for one dollar . . .

I used some foam stamps by Memory . . .
and  Jet Black Archival Ink . . .

I stamped the initial in the middle of the bookmark and then Zentangled around the initial . . .
I used a Silver Calligrapher Pen-Touch pen to edge the bookmarks and then added black and white ribbon through the holes . . .
And that's it!  You can left click on the photos to get a closer look.

Sherry -
I am so in love with your Zentangles! I am going to have to pick up a book and get more information because I think you have me hooked! I just love what you do with them.

No disappointment from me, just many thanks for explaining the process! I wondered about the edging and now I know!! They are soooo cool! I am a poetry therapist and I want to create some of these for my poetry/book friends now!! Zentangling is fun for me and I LOVE combining the art forms. OH and I think that I have Artzheimer's Disease too!!

Thanks so much, again!!

peace and hugs today,
Nessa
