Flea Market/Garage Sale and Thank You Book Marks

Hi Peggy - the flea market/garage sale part of this post is dedicated to you!  Peggy is my blogging buddy over at Miss P Productions!  These are some of my recent flea market and garage sale finds . . .
An early 20th Century baby spoon
a book of Green Stamps
a dustless chalk box w/no dust and no chalk inside *hee hee*
a book of vintage rent receipts
vintage New York postcards
some are going to my NY blog buddie :)
vintage sheet music and a book of postcard photos
All of these vintage fabric scraps were stuffed in a ziplock baggie!
Vintage Bobbins (now in my Etsy Shop) SOLD, THANK YOU
Above are some Zentangled book marks that I've made as a little "thank you" for my students this Saturday at Whimzy! in Old Town Tustin.  All of the ladies that signed up are new students, so they probably won't see these on my blog beforehand *smiles*.

Have a great week blogger buddies!

I am loving all of your vintage finds.........I think you know just how much I love them. I can never get enough of them. Way too cool.

And of course, it goes without saying that your bookmarks are absolutely gorgeous. Someday I must try that but for some reason, I don't think they will stand up to the beauty of yours. Great work.

You are one busy women! Love those zentangle book marks - our new library will be opening soon so I was thinking of making varios book marks to give to people at the opening ceremony! I will have a group of students helping me make them so that will be fun!
Love all your antique findings - especially the bobbins!

Oooh, I can see that you got some fantastic finds! One of my favorite things to pick up are wooden boxes, rough frames, and vintage music. Looks like I must take more pictures - the embroidered quilt top (yes, I will quilt it), construction-opoly game, and the other three suitcases I bought on Saturday! Promise that if I am ever near you we will shop together!

I'm here like Jane, courtesy of Jacqui from Artists of the Round Table. LOVE your work! I also love zentangles and have inspired myself to be such an artist through that form... If you have the time, would you share how you put the bookmarks together? I'm a book person and have lots of book friends, so I could make some as gifts... Again, great work on your blog and your artwork! Very lovely and inspiring!
