Yesterday at the Rubber Stamp Convention

The sun was really bright yesterday morning at the Rubber Stamp Convention and the Stampers Anonymous booth is back in the corner where there are a lot of windows.
I tried my best to get some decent photos of some of Wendy Vecchi's samples. This is the best I could do . . .

Hels Sheridan over at Ink on my Fingers had asked me to tell Wendy hello and give her a hug if I could.  You see, Hels lives in the U.K. so it was going to be a stretch for her to be in Carson, California for the show.

So I told Wendy hello . . . and I gave her a hug . . .

But look what Wendy wrote and held up for me to take a photo of so I could send to Hels . . .

Was that sweet or WHAT? *smiles*

Ted Cutts - Mr. Stampers Anonymous taking time out from demoing for a photo op.  Check out this little house box that Ted put together yesterday and added some of Tim's new "feet" . . .

More samples in the booth . . .
These bird cage samples were made by Pearl (known to those close to her as "auntie") . . .
I know it doesn't look like it, but I DID leave the Stampers Anonymous booth yesterday!  LOL

Here are some card and tag samples . . .

I participated in the Artist Trading Card contest again but was so busy swapping that I didn't get to take a photo of the board before they took it away.  Sorry about that :(  These are the cards I received . . .
I traded some of my zentangle-inspired atcs and the last of the atcs I had made for the cruise last October.   Ooooo, that reminds me . . . I've got to send three of these to Deborah Bonner.  So Deborah, if you're reading this :) . . .

I spent time with Linda from Stampmaiden's Artventures, Mary, Diana, Angie, Pearl, Michelle, Kathy and all of the new ladies I met yesterday.  I had a good time!

I've followed the link from Hels blog and am sooo glad I did. You got some great photos of the convention, I don't think I'd have left Stampers Anonymous for long either!! Love the art you do on your blog, I have become a follower.

Oh Sherry, I'm SO SO jealous - what a fabulous array of goodness!! I wish I was there.
Thanks for your comment and opinion on my collage front/backs :) You were quick to reply.
I love those zentangles you have created, would you like to swap with me some day? I have a ton of atc cards I have made, and don't mind swapping some of the aceo's either.
Take care sweetie xo

Great photos, Sherry. One of my favorite vendors is Blackbird Studios. I didn't attend this year as I have about 500 rubber stamps now & I am simply out of room! Looks like a fun time!

I think I caught a glimpse of you at the show, but couldn't stay for the ATC swap. We've got to get together when you have some time!!

Fantastic! Fantastic pics...and yes, Ted C is my favorite stamping guy. I ONLY buy stamps from him...He has better selection of good stamps rather than some of the real junk I've seen out there. He actually sent my a goody package last week for participating in a Tim Holtz tag swap last year.
