Monday Mail Call . . .4.37 Miles. . .Latest Zentangle

In my mail box when I got home last night . . .
And this is what was in the box . . .
There were only 11 of the new Distress Inks included because Pumice Stone is still on backorder.  But look at all of the extra goodies that Eclectic Paperie included as gifts "just because"!
They even included some tags to use.  This is REALLY good, since I just moved and haven't gone through all of my boxes marked "Arts & Crafts" yet - *sigh*

If you read some of my earlier birthday posts, then you already know that this was a gift from my sil/bff Lezlei.    Thanks again Lezlei!

Now, check THIS out.  I mapped Eclectic Paperie, and they are 4.37 miles from my home.  Does this mean that I can just drive over and go shopping any time I want?  Be still my Tim Holtz lovin' heart!
Sad to say, but it looks like they are an online retail store only - no physical location/store front - darn it.  But I bet this is where all their stuff is!

Do you think I could call and tell them to just leave anything Tim Holtz-related at the back door and I'll just swing by and pick it up?
Please?  I promise I won't tell anyone else about our arrangement.

PS  Here's a Zentangle-inspired piece I did before going to bed last night . . .
Have an art-filled day today!

I bet you can't wait until you can sit down and play with all the new colors. Way too cool. I am impressed with all the extras that they sent with your order.

Wow...just getting caught up on several of your blog posts now. I'm wondering if you could contact Eclectic Paperie and see about picking up anything you may want - certainly save them the packing and you the shipping!

LOVE.love.love. your new zentagle inspired charm necklaces! The ones with the playing cards I think would be very popular. They are not only visually appealing, but also reminiscent of Alice in Wonderland - always a popular theme and with TB's new movie coming out soon, will be even more popular. Get busy! LOL

Mmmm, new inks, love these. And what a nice surprise inside the box! Moving...yuck. I bet it's a good thing that Zentangl-ing takes a limited amount of supplies! This latest one is great!

Those are some yummy looking colors you have there! What a tease that it's not a "real" store ... you're so funny!
Happy March!

i just had to tell you that your idea of how this online business is run just cracks me up! i don't know anything about them, but i'm guessing they are one person like me, and have their inventory in the garage. i wish i had a space like this! : )

WOW..I really wished eclectic Paperie looked just as good as your picture. Thank you for the kind comments and I love hearing the excitement in your voice. If you are local, you can always make arrangements to pick-up. I am also working on hosting a series of Ranger product classes using all things Ranger and inspired by Tim Holtz. Make sure you are signed up for the eclectic Paperie newsletter as the class info will come through there. Hope we can all create together soon.

Seriously, that piece is amazing! Your work in Zentangle art (no idea what that was before you) is so detailed and creative; and when I saw next week's MMM challenge, Black & White (with a splash of color) I thought of you and this body of work you are doing. BEAUTIFUL necklace too - way to go, Kristin xo

I was ready to go out the front door when I read how close they are to you. Good thing I kept reading. LOL! Isn't it GREAT to get ART in the mail?! My favorite color is the Olive one. I used it recently! Love all your extra goodies too. You know, maybe it's a good thing they're an online store. Man child would probably never see his momma. LOL!!
