Thanksgiving Day Collage

I started a collage today after eating more than one person should in one day - but didn't we ALL???  And with leftovers from today, a couple of Christmas potlucks ahead, two retirement parties and two invitations to friends for MORE food and libations, I should really follow the advice of my collage title . . .

Maybe I'll make some copies of it when it's finished and put one on the refrigerator and maybe use one for a journal cover so I will see it every day!

Do you see the Teesha Moore influence?  I watched a few of her journaling videos and incorporated some of her techniques.  I really dig the way she does borders around each page in her journals.

I'm creating this collage on a piece of cardboard that is 11 3/4" x 10" . . .

So how was your Thanksgiving?  Did you watch what YOU ate? *smiles*

PS  Turn your speakers on.  I've switched out my regular Playlist and am now featuring some Christmas tunes for your enjoyment.

I DID watch what I ate - as it went into my mouth! Fried turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, pumpkin pie and pecan pie! It was yummy! Happy Thanksgiving, Sherry!

Wow! I have eaten beyond capacity and am being punished by being uncomfortable, and lethargic! Wouldn't you think I'd have gotten this down by now?
I just mailed out the recipe I took today for two easy, r-i-c-h desserts. I had to test them, right? Let me know if you want a recipe. How are you spending tomorrow? from over-stuffed jacki ...;op

Aw c'mon - that's not guilt talking now is it? You are allowed to eat too much at Thanksgiving. Hilarious idea for a collage though! I myself am starving myself until Christmas of course - NOOOOOT! Bisous from France

Love your creature, plus the little snow owl in the corner! And no I didn't try to control anything! Holidays are stressful enough for me, so I reward myself with eating good stuff for hanging in there and being a good hostess! I'll make it up later on!

Yes, I too "watched what I ate" and I enjoyed every mouthful. You have a great blog and the colors of your work really pops well against the black background here. What a funny little creature you created...it reminds me of a puppet I had as a kid.
