WIP's

A few posts ago, I blogged about what I do when I have a creative block. I gesso then paint canvas boards, framed canvas, heavy matboard, wood, cardboard - you get the picture. I've started on a couple. These are my WIP's (works in progress) . . .
The piece above is created on an 8" x 10" artist canvas board, I used some of my serendipity paper towels, acrylic paints, rubber and foam stamps, tissue paper, Golden's Light Molding Paste and a black and white Kinko-copied (on 90 lb cardstock) photo of Lady Day - Billie Holiday

The one below that I'm working on is an 8" x 10" artist canvas board as well. I'm calling it "Face Skewed", I used acrylic paints, tissue paper, Golden's Light Molding Paste, grapes, one of Jada Pinkett's eyes, and a nose, mouth and arm from random magazine photos . . .

PS My Etsy Shop sale is still in full force. Don't forget to check it out and remember to write the 20% vacation blurb in the notes area when you check out *wink wink*.

Have a wonderfully creative Tuesday!!

Sherry, this is my first visit to your blog, but it won't be the last - love your style! I really like the vibrant colours on these pieces! I even enjoyed your musical selection. :)
