How I Spent My Sunday in Temecula's Wine Country

Making my way to La Maison Rustique - also known as The Barn . . .

After missing my turn the first time, and taking about a 10 mile scenic route detour, I am finally heading down the right road now . . .
Almost there . . .
Yippee, I made it! Thanks for the turnaround instructions Linda *smiles* . . . It was a wonderful day at The Barn this afternoon, thanks to Rita Reade, Doris Drew, Michele Drew, Jeanine Gostenhofer, Jennifer Thompson, Tina Marie Caprioti, Donna Horn, Patie Berge and her sister Cindy, Robin Sanchez, Jacki Long, and Jeanine Paquette!

Thank you ladies for making this such a fun class today :) And thank you Linda, for having me at La Maison Rustique to teach. I enjoyed relaxing after the workshop inside The Barn chit chatting with you, Rita and Deb as well :)

This is Rita. I finally got to meet this lovely lady in the flesh. I just KNEW she was as sweet as she sounded over the phone, through e-mails and blog posts!! . . .

Mimosas anyone? Unanimous response . . . "yes, please!" And did I tell you that I held the class outside? Yep, sure did. It was such a lovely day . . .

The ladies . . .

Jeanine P.

Jacki

Remember ladies . . . we're AUDITIONING our little works of art first . . .

Clean those fingerprints off Cindy . . .

This group was dubbed "the quiet table", which they all got a kick out of, because they said they are usually a far cry from quiet.

Want to see a few photos from inside and around The Barn? All of these items are for sale! Click on the photos to make them larger so you can get up close and personal . . .

I would love to climb up into this tree swing with a blanket and stay a few more hours . . .But it's time to head back home . . .
15 North? - Got it! . . .
Taking the toll road to cut through the mountains . . .Back home safe and sound . . .
Time to take a shower, figure out what to wear to work to "the day job" in the morning, and get some shut eye. I am sure to have pleasant dreams tonight.

PS Winner of the "Show me Your Tatts Contest" announced tomorrow morning!

Sherry, you find the greatest places to go to, and post the best blogs about them. I WANT to visit The Barn, what a fascinating looking place. The class looks like it was also well worth the trip!
