Gotta Love Marley!

Back in March, my friend Linda Bucci and I went to Jacki Long's Rip Roaring Collage workshop. I had been to Jacki's workshop before, but it had been a long time since I had seen her and I wanted to go with Linda for her first visit to The ArtBar.

Linda really enjoyed Jacki's workshop, so much so, that she has created another collage! And since Linda doesn't have a blog (yet), I thought I would show you the collage she made of her dog, Marley.

This is the photo she worked from . . .

and this is the collage (I think it is a masterpiece!) - all made with torn paper on canvas! . . .

See the roses to the left of Linda's collage? Those are some of my watercolored coffee filter roses. Keeping with the "paper theme" in the photo you took Linda? *hee hee*

I LOVE Marley - both the real dog and the collage pic. The picture collage is amazing! What kind of paper did she use? Tissue? It looks wonderfully soft and fur like. Very, very cool!

Sherry, wonderful work!! I found you thru Jacki - I've taken her rip roaring collage class a couple times. Your friend Linda did such a nice job on the dog. The roses are beautiful too.

Sherry please tell Linda that I said she did a brilliant job of Marley....he/she really lends themselves to be captured on canvas in that style. That's a gorgeous pic and an even better one of her canvas work.
