Update on Projects

I finished "The Dancer"

"Dance like no one is watching. Sing like no one is listening. Love like you've never been hurt and live like it's heaven on Earth." — Mark Twain
You didn't think that I had stopped making those bracelets from the cardboard tubes I was cutting with my electric knife did you? Surely you jest! HA
I'm continuing to make more and just thinking of ways to embellish them!

And remember "Remember to Love Yourself"? Well, I've gessoed over her face - about 4 times now. I just can't get it "right" yet *sigh*. However, I AM liking what I did to her HAIR. .

I added some light molding paste, painted it with black acrylic, highlighted it with a lighter color (thanks for the lesson Lezlei), and then applied a glossy glaze.

I'll get back to the face once I've practiced more . . . *sigh* To be continued . . .

Hey Sherry! Your bracelets look great! I saw someone make those on some HGTV show and I thought it was a great idea! She used some type of varnish that worked great. I think I would have to coat mine in glitter ;)
