WOW, look what I found at the Thrift Store yesterday (Thursday)!
This is a dress I bought with pinks and oranges and glittery beads on it
oooooooooh, I'm going to cut this up and use it for projects
and look at this lace blouse . . . for less than $6.00! I'm going to cut the lace away from the lining to also use in projects
I received this box in the mail at home . . .
What's IN the box, you ask? . . .
Oooooooh, all sorts of goodies from my 2008 OWOH BFF in Ohio, Mary Ann *smiles*.
But WAIT, is that all that's in that big, heavy, Flat Rate Priority Mail box????? Sure isn't! THESE were in there as WELL!
I LOVE old, dirty, beat up, vintage boxes!
And THIS is what was IN those boxes . . .
vintage player piano music rolls! Now you see why the title of this post is "Got WOWS?"!
ooooooooooooooh, the possibilities!
Then I opened up another box from Susan at Fully Flummoxed.
Look at all of this fabulous ephemera! There's vintage calendar pages with written notes, fibers, a pair of spectacles, wooden hands, and MORE . . .
And this box . . . a black box marked "Blues". Wanna see what's inside?
Now if this isn't the best for Black History Month, I don't know what IS! . . .
Thank you Thrift Store, Mary Ann and Susan! :)
