Part III - With a Name Change

I've changed the name from Hold on to your Heart to Remember to Love Yourself. Still working on this piece. I used some Heidi Swapp letter masks to spell out the words.

I've started painting the hair

and applying color to the lady
I'm going to "tone down" the oranges - they're too bright.

This piece is going to sit a few days while I start another piece I've started sketching.

Sherry, how big is this piece? I zoomed in and really like the collage of her dress and the greens you used.

12" x 12" piece of wood. I had several pieces cut this size at Home Depot for an encaustic workshop I taught a couple of years ago. I found the remaining pieces when "cleaning" and decided to use them :)

LOVE the orange! Please leave it!! Too much toning down in art becomes the norm!
