GOT LOVE?

Have you ever had one of those weeks that just never seemed like it was going to end? You know, one of those weeks when the work days were just a bear to get through? Or maybe a week where you go to the doctor and hear some things that are "disturbing"? Well, that's the kind of week I had. I won't bore you with the details, but I did want to share the GOOD stuff with you :) Just when I was saying to myself, "Where's the LOVE?!", this is what happened:

Lisa Lectura Creations had a giveaway earlier this month, and I won 3rd place, which was a 5" x 7" print. This is the one I received. I'm going to paint a frame to put it in - it's gorgeous in person!!

Then I got an e-mail from The Artful Mama blog, letting me know I was the winner of THEIR giveaway - check out the really cool *so ME* tag I won on their blog!

Friday morning, one of my bff called me from Chicago to say "hey" and catch up" before I went to work. She had been on my blog earlier in the week and saw that I was asking all my blogger buddies about the Flip video recorder. I must have sounded really excited when she asked me about it, because about 5 minutes later she asked me if I was near my computer to be able to check e-mail. I was. While we had been on the phone talking, she had ordered me a Flip Video Recorder in PINK for my birthday!!!! Ooooooooooh, is that just the best?! I was almost speechless (which, if you know me, is very rare), when I opened the e-mail and read "Thank you, your confirmation number is . . . . " My new toy will be here next week.

Let's see, what else happened? Oh yeah, we had our monthly staff meeting (the day job) also on Friday, and we always have a drawing for a Target gift card. I WON this month!

I received a postcard from my 2008 OWOH now bff , Mary Ann, earlier in the week - "just because". I just LOVE it when I receive anything handwritten, and Mary Ann is sooooooo good about dropping me a notecard or fabulous postcard just when I need it!

What else? Oh yeah, I didn't win the giveaway on Mystele's blog Little Glimpses Studio, but everyone that entered was able to purchase one of Mystele's larger prints at 1/2 off that day! What a sweetie she is. This is the one I purchased and received earlier in the week. I'm going to frame it to hang real soon. I just love it - titled Within Reach

A couple of things happened today through "love" as well, but were given privately. You know who you are . . . thank you again!

So YES, I've "GOT LOVE"! Sometimes we just need to stop long enough to remember and be thankful for all of the good that happens while we're living out our busy, sometimes hectic lives.
