Peeling Paper Technique - Final Results

This is the final result of my peeling paper technique. I added some branches, tiny leaves, and a wooden bird. If you missed the steps up to this point, please see previous post.

Here's a closeup of the little birdie.

Little Singing Birdie flew in by way of The Porkchop Show! Check out Scott's wood cuts in his etsy shop. He makes them by applying paper imagery to 1/8" thick baltic birch board and then cutting the pieces with a laser. The results are simply incredible. I am sooooo happy I found him!

Okay this is great! I read it in my head as peeling PAINT technique and I'm looking and thinking - what's up with this? It ain't peeling, but it's still pretty - then I finally GOT IT! I even like the bird and I don't like birds as a rule. :O)

great work, Sherre!
