Rubberstamp Convention this Weekend

I'm trying to get geared up for A Stamp In The Hand's Spring Original Rubber Stamp Convention this weekend, but I went over to Tim's website (ahhhhhhhh, that would be Tim as in Tim Holtz of course, and see that he will be on the Arts de Mer Cruise teaching this weekend! This is so disheartening.

And this is one of the 2-day conventions. I like to stay at the Doubletree Hotel right there on the same grounds as the Carson Community Center where the convention is being held. (Call hotel directly (310) 830-9200 or call (800) Hiltons and ask for Rubber Stamp Convention rate)

With Tim not coming . . . well, I just wasn't sure about going for both days. But a little weekend get-away is just what I need right now. And my good friend/sister-in-law Lezlei and I had already made plans to stay at the hotel and do some crafting on Saturday night after the first day of the show, so 2 days it is! (smiles) AND, another friend that has never been to one of these shows is going, so I just HAVE to be there to "show her around" right? Right! (more smiles)
