"TIME FOR MARTINIS" HAPPY HOUR RECORD ALBUM CLOCK
This is a clock I created from an old record album, a cd, and some used bottle caps.
Using decorative paper, I punched out olives and parts of martini glasses to fit into the used bottle caps.
For the 12 o'clock hour, I used the word TIME in a bottle cap.
Once glued in place, I poured Judikins Diamond Glaze into the caps and set aside to let dry.
When the caps had dried, I used E6000 to attach the caps to the record album to use as the clock numbers for my clock.
I purchased a clock mechanism kit that fit just PERFECTLY through the holes of the cd and record album!
I applied alcohol inks to the cd and used Stazon ink to stamp a martini glasses.
I then centered the hole of the cd over the hole of the record album and glued the cd down with E6000.

Now that's a great piece of recycling! Thanks for taking part in our challenge.

Love what you've done with the almost extinct LP! So creative and something useful too! This brings to mind a song that says: it's five o'clock somewhere (time for a drink :)
You know, I've been craving stuffed green olives all afternoon and now this! LOL! Love those bottle caps. Love the clock! I know I have bottle caps somewhere. Darn that "artzheimer's!" LOL!!
